- Drag Selection: Click and drag your mouse over a block of text.
- Double-Click: Quickly double-click a single word.
- Instant Tooltip: Immediately after you release the mouse, a floating, non-intrusive tooltip will appear near your cursor with the translation.

- Documents: PDF Readers, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

3.2 Screen Capture Translation (Snipping Tool)
Use the built-in screen capture feature to translate text from images, diagrams, subtitles, or any area on your screen that cannot be selected with a mouse.
🔥 Two ways to trigger
Option A — Global Shortcut (from anywhere on your PC):
- Press Ctrl + Alt + S from anywhere on your computer, even when TranslaPop is in the background.
- Your screen will dim and your cursor will change to a crosshair.
- Click and drag to draw a rectangle around the area you want to translate, then release.
- TranslaPop will automatically open, switch to the Screenshot tab, and display the translation result.
Option B — In-app Button:
- Open TranslaPop from the system tray and navigate to the Screenshot tab.
- Click the "Capture Screenshot (Ctrl + Alt + S)" button.
- The app window will temporarily hide. Draw a rectangle on screen and release.
- The app reappears with the captured image on the left and the translation on the right.
💡 Pro Tips:
• Click without dragging or close the overlay to cancel the capture.
• Works great for translating game text, image-embedded text, video subtitles, and UI elements in foreign-language software.
• The AI uses multimodal vision to read and translate all visible text within the captured region.
• The translation result is editable — you can refine it directly in the text area.
• Use the copy button (top-right of the result panel) to copy the translation to your clipboard.
